Team Assistant to the Business Development Team

£30,000-35,000 per annum




Our client are looking for an organised, efficient and outgoing Team Assistant with at least three years' experience to provide administrative support to the Business Development team, which currently comprises of four Business Development Directors and the Investor Relations team. The successful candidate should not be afraid to take the initiative and be proactive. They should be confident in handling a busy and demanding team. They will work well with the other two members of the administration team to support the rest of the office (currently 52 employees in total), as well as effectively sharing holiday cover. The candidate will report to one of the founding directors (Head of Business Development) and should be proficient in Microsoft Office (Word and PowerPoint as a priority).

Duties will include:

  • General diary management (organising internal and external meetings, conference calls, and videoconferences)
  • Extensive travel management (organising complex trips, visas, itineraries)
  • Preparing and maintaining marketing materials (printing, binding, typing, scanning, photocopying)
  • Processing monthly expenses
  • Assisting with blacklining and formatting of documents
  • Maintenance of the company CRM system (preparing regular reports, helping to resolve user issues, ensuring information in the system is kept up to date)
  • Greeting clients - Organising guests, meeting rooms and refreshments (to be shared with the other members of the administration team)
  • Answering phones - screening calls/information and handling queries (to be shared with the other members of the administration team)
  • Dealing with post and couriers (to be shared with the other members of the administration team)

The role will be broad and varied and the candidate should be able to prioritise and execute several tasks at once.As the candidate will be involved in looking after guests they should be presentable and personable.
