A fantastic opportunity for a 'will do' and 'can do' attitude candidate to work for this medium sized diverse insurance group. With approximately 250 employees worldwide, the role of Senior HR Advisor would suit candidates looking for a busy and challenging role, being able to juggle and prioritise workloads in a highly professional manner.

Though a truly generalist role a good understanding and knowledge of Learning and Development is highly desirable as the business is currently going through a transition and HR is responsible for delivering and implementing a talent management programme across the business. To provide a generalist Human Resources Support to the business in conjunction with the HR Manager.

Therefore the role would suit a pure generalist who is happy to take on all different aspects of HR but in particular L&D.

* Strong attention to detail, good planning and organisation skills.
* Ability to work under pressure.
* Strong IT Skills, in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
* Displays a high level of integrity in the execution of all work responsibilities.
* Experience of creating and implementing L&D initiatives.
* Is articulate at all levels. Influencing and persuading effectively whilst portraying professional credibility and instilling confidence at all times.
* Strong generalist background, preferably from the insurance industry
* A common sense approach, whilst maintaining a focus on customer awareness and the principles of good service.
* Enthusiasm, resilience and a commitment to own personal development.
* A broad and detailed understanding of employment matters, employment legislation and its practical application.
