Highly successful and very well established technology firm based in the City is looking for an experienced sales administrator, ideally from either an engineering or IT sector to provide support to a team of busy sales professionals.

You will be providing vital administrative support to a dynamic UK sales team through every stage of the sales process. This will involve helping to create reports and contracts using Microsoft Word, as well as processing orders and opportunities using Salesforce and keeping the relevant database up-to-date. This means you will be gathering and collating information from different teams within the company and making sure, they are included in any sales documents.

Skills and experience required

  • Proven administrative/sales support experience
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of Salesforce
  • Good understanding of Microsoft Office applications (e.g. Excel)
  • The ability to prioritise your work and respond quickly to changing needs
  • A calm manner, with the focus to work accurately within set guidelines and procedures
  • Good problem-solving and organisational skills
  • A proactive approach, with an openness to new ideas
