LMA Recruitment are currently business partnering with a privately owned charity fund based in central London, looking for a proactive and experience Sales Ledger Clerk, who is immediately available, to join their finance department on a potential temp to perm basis.

Reporting to the Business Services Manager, this role will be responsible for the day-to-day delivery of a comprehensive accounts receivable function, as well as key controls including bank and control account reconciliations, demonstrating high standards of process performance, accuracy, innovation and customer service.

Key responsibilities:


Accounts receivable
* Responsible for the day-to-day delivery of the accounts receivable function, raising sales invoices.
* Responsible for day-to-day credit control, producing and reviewing monthly aged debtor reports, proactively identifying and respectfully resolving any issues (working closely with the Trust's various departments).
* Responsible for sending out monthly customer statements (working closely with the Trust's various departments)
* First point of contact for customer queries


Financial accounting and control
* Deliver sales ledger month end close procedures, including balance sheet reconciliations, working to tight deadlines
* Responsible for the reconciliation of all bank accounts
* Reconciliation of income control account balance sheet reconciliations and other key balance sheet accounts
* Post journals under the supervision of the Business Services Manager

Other
* Support the Business Services Manager in the development of the finance system in relation to sales ledger and cashbook process improvements
* Responsible for the daily posting of ticketing system batch reports and reconciliation against monies received, including raising invoices where required
* Creating suppliers on the purchase ledger
* Maintain excellent levels of customer service to the organisation, championing a responsive and "right first time" approach
* Establish and maintain excellent working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
* Support the Business Services Manager with queries from the external auditors during their onsite work, fulfilling audit requests
* Carry out any other reasonable duties, in line with role requirements
* Provide cover for the accounts payable function when needed.
