A leading professional services firm requires an experienced Administrator with a keen interest in marketing and experience in events, to join their marketing team on a temp to perm basis.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assisting with the preparation of documents, including formatting, proofreading, printing, incorporating graphics in MS Word, MS Excel, and MS PowerPoint in accordance with the brand.
  • General secretarial and administrative support including, but not limited to:

o Diary management and meeting co-ordination

o Arranging travel itineraries

o Records management to a very high standard

o Updating client contact and marketing database

  • Assisting the cash collection process in accordance with established procedures.
  • Building effective working relationships with consultants and stakeholders.
  • Ensuring clients' queries are dealt with demonstrating the highest standards of professional excellence, to agreed timescales.
  • Assist with all aspects of Learning & Development including, but not limited to:

o Working with L&D Manager on requirements within T&R and sourcing new courses

o Liaising with external training providers

o Arranging the logistics for all training sessions

o Keeping track of all courses provided and attendees

o Updating budget/costs

Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in an administrative role within a marketing team is essential, ideally within a professional services environment
  • Advanced understanding of the Microsoft Office suite (i.e. Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook)
  • Excellent grammar/spelling
  • Typing/data entry speed and accuracy
  • Oracle experience desirable but not essential as training will be given
  • Strong communicator, with clear written and oral communication skills
  • The ability to be persistent and persuasive with colleagues at all levels within the business
  • Strong customer service and client focus

  • Attention to detail
  • The ability to handle sensitive information in an appropriate manner
  • Excellent organisational skills, with the ability to estimate workload, prioritise and work to agreed timescales reliably

  • Good commercial awareness and an understanding of how external business issues can impact internal decision making
  • Good level of numeracy
