A leading global insurance company requires an experienced Marketer to support their global Recruitment Marketing Manager.

Key Responsibilities

  • Creation and optimisation of video content globally, from arranging video shoots with both internal and external videographers, to question setting, colleague briefing all the way through to filming and editing post-production
  • Working with current external partners to co-create content to support inclusion and diversity narrative
  • Continuously seeking out new, better ways of creating content so as to keep the audience actively engaged with the employer brand
  • Day-to-day management of the company global careers social media channels
  • Collaborating seamlessly with Global Social Media team to ensure corporate channels (e.g. LinkedIn, Instagram) are used effectively from an employer brand viewpoint and content is repurposed appropriately
  • Collaborating proactively with the Inclusion & Diversity team to input into content creation, so it is suitable for external promotion
  • Reporting on key social media metrics and suggest how improvements can be made
  • Reviewing copy quarterly to ensure all information is accurate and up-to-date
  • Working with creative agency to understand how to better optimise the careers site to provide a consumer-grade experience for our candidates
  • Proactively monitoring brand presence and ensuring that all external candidate touch points have a consistent look, feel and tone of voice
  • Making suggestions when consistency is not apparent and see it through to execution
  • Ensuring open dialogue is maintained with Corporate Brand and Marketing team so that external employer brand grows in line with our corporate brand
  • Supporting local recruiters in their talent attraction strategies by utilising digital channels (social media, careers site) and email campaigns
  • Recommending best practice and helping recruiters and the business understand the powers and limitations of social media
  • Supporting and collaborating on additional projects as and when required with the Global Recruitment Marketing and Employer Brand Manager
  • Proactively taking responsibility for elements of a project, using initiative and drive to get things done, on time

Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in a marketing role within a recruitment environment is essential (agency or in-house)
  • Proactive, collaborative, execution-driven attitude
  • Ability to learn quickly and bring new ideas to the table
  • Experience in managing multiple social media accounts for a global company
  • Flawless use of English (grammar, punctuation and spelling) for both written and spoken communication
  • Ability to flex written style for a multitude of purposes, audiences, geographies
  • Experience in managing video shoots from conception to post-production
  • Candidate champion - ensuring that everything we do from content creation to campaigns is done with the candidate experience at the forefront
  • Acute attention to detail
  • Ability to prioritise, whilst juggling competing demands
  • Ability to work independently and proactively, without supervision
  • Work efficiently with excellent planning and organisational skills
  • Desire to drive projects through to completion
  • Proven ability to work and partner with colleagues locally and globally
  • Proactive, creative flair for capturing compelling stories and content to share across a variety of platforms and media (e.g. social channels, careers site, job board partners)
  • Ability to produce flawlessly written English content in line with employer tone of voice, from longer form articles and blogs to social media posts featuring colleagues from around the world
  • Natural ability to flex written style so as to appeal to different target audiences in different geographies, whilst keeping our employer tone of voice consistent
