Office Assistant - 23K

Are you a switched on, bright Office Assistant looking for an exciting opportunity to work in a fast paced boutiqe recruitment agency based in the heart of the City?

Do you love organisation, problem solving and being the 'go to' person around the office?

Are you an IT whiz with excellent communication skills?

LMA are proud to represent a boutique recruitment office in their search for a friendly office assistant to support a busy Office Manager and Sales team with general admin, occasional PA duties and assisting with the smooth running of the office.

Key duties

  • Manage incoming and outgoing post and courier services
  • Order all office stock including stationary and kitchen supplies
  • Ensure all Kitchen areas are clean and tidy, including daily emptying of the dishwasher
  • Set up fruit and fridge supplies every Monday and Weds
  • Greet all candidates/guests
  • Occasional PA duties
  • Work with the Office Manager to organise internal and business incentives and occasions including Christmas party and team trip targets
  • Induction of new starters
  • First point of contact for all cleaning/facilities suppliers

Sales Support

  • Assist and provide support to the Sales Team as required
  • Monitor all advertising boards and work with the sales team to confirm best practice
  • Produce reports for senior management when required
  • Ad-hoc travel co-ordination for UK travel
  • Work with the Office Manager to be responsible for the process of T+C's end dates and terms - on boarding of a new process to manage these details
  • Responsible for working with contract consultants to make sure we are on top of contractor end dates and extensions
  • Confirming with perm consultants that all new starters are ready and starting on their expected start date
  • Working with the Office Manager/Directors to produce training guides for all levels of consultant


  • First point of contact for all IT issues working with external IT company to make sure all IT equipment is in working order
  • Support all back office processes and systems, working with the Office Manager and Senior Management to make sure they are working as expected
  • Maintain RSM, our invoicing system
  • Input a proficient employee sickness/holiday process
  • Work with the IT company to set up new starters/desks
