LMA Recruitment are currently partnering a well-known retail company based in central London who require an Allocator to join their successful team on a 12 month Fixed Term Contract (FTC.) This entry level position would be ideal for someone with advanced Excel skills who is looking to 'kick start' their career within the fashion/retail industry. Previous experience is not essential, just the willingness to learn and the ability to work with Excel with ease.

Typical duties will include:

  • Product file maintenance
  • Stock distribution
  • Product delivery
  • Stock replenishment
  • Stock markdowns
  • Seasonal stock rotation
  • Stock Transfer management
  • Price changes.
  • Sales and clearance price management
  • Communicating all relevant stock information to stores, regional managers
  • Closing off orders
  • Preparing reports
  • Dealing with store and supplier queries

This organisation is looking for someone with a Business Degree and retail (shop floor) experience. Excel skills are a must! A keen interest in fashion trends and have a good understanding of merchandising would be an advantage.
