ROLE DESCRIPTION
The role serves to define and deliver marketing plans as required by the Marketing & Operations Manager and members of the executive team.
 Definition of marketing plans
 Creation and distribution of marketing material through social media, email, traditional media, and our website
 Maintenance of our website, managing content, advising on layout/structure and implementing changes as required
 Production of event marketing materials including direct mailings, email communications, social media communications, online
and in-print advertisements and the management and development of the event websites
 Day to day management of social media pages and groups, including readership/engagement analysis and campaign design
 Liaising with media partners and agencies
 Creation and maintenance of email templates and distribution lists
 Video creation and editing
 Maintenance of brand guidelines
Other activities that may be required from time to time:
 Supporting our events team on certain activities (e.g., delegate registration, communications and assisting with events delivery)
 Providing back-up (e.g., holiday) cover for our programme office function (primarily meeting scheduling, minute-taking and
distribution, maintenance of website content, member liaison and management of corporate share inboxes)

(i.e., writing copy) is not expected to form part of the role, though proof-reading material is.

ESSENTIAL SKILLS
Candidates must have:
 Excellent written and verbal communication skills
 The ability to work as part of a team
 Proficiency in standard office applications (e.g., MS Office) and key tools (e.g., Wordpress)
 Familiarity and competence with use of social media tools, particularly LinkedIn and X
 Experience of B2B direct and digital marketing campaigns, including for online and in-person events.
