LMA Recruitment are pleased to be working with a multi-award winning and market leading organisation, who offer great training and future scope to progress. Due to their growing business, they are seeking a Liability Claims Handler to join their exciting team based in Birmingham.


The role of the Liability Claims Handler is to work with their team to achieve business objectives whilst proactively handling claims.

Key Responsibilities

  • Establish if cover is in place for the claim
  • Record all claims on the digital claims handling system
  • Investigate the claims from desk side - or pass on to loss adjusters
  • Independently respond to queries from both clients and insurers in a pro-active manner, whilst keeping consultants informed as appropriate
  • Handling liability claims - dealing with a claim from beginning to end within an agreed authority level
  • Create and maintain good client relationships
  • Negotiate the settlement of the claim

Skills and Experience

  • 12 months claims handling experience required - liability experience advantageous
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Team player who also has the ability to work on own initiative
