This 6 month FTC will offer a fantastic opportunity for a Learning and Development Manager with experience in the Legal Sector to quickly add value in a challenging but rewarding international environment.

This is a role for an individual who is passionate about Learning and Development, and who can demonstrate a real understanding of the need to ensure that the L&D function delivers interventions that are truly aligned with operational and strategic business plans.

We are seeking an accomplished professional, who wants to use their Learning experience gained within a Legal environment to facilitate the sharing of knowledge, the development of individuals and teams, working to achieve our goal to be the leading global business Law firm.

MAIN DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

You will be commercially astute and dynamic, and able to demonstrate a deep understanding of how to use learning and development to improve business performance.

You will have strong experience of working with the entire training cycle within a Law Firm.

This is a hands on role where your focus primarily will be to partner with stakeholders in the UK and the Middle East, as well as managing and contributing to a wide range of projects as part of the International Learning team.

You will need to be energetic and enthusiastic, and happy to take on a wide range of work within our fast moving and changing environment.

SKILLS AND ATTRIBUTES

  • Demonstrable experience of managing learning and development activities within the Legal sector, using blended methodologies and leveraging a mixture of internal resources and external suppliers
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to quickly build relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Sound organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Able to evidence initiative and a pro-active approach
  • Ability to work independently and remain calm under pressure
