Japanese Speaking PA

Highly successful and well established, international bank based in the heart of the City is looking for an experienced Japanese speaking PA to work alongside the head of the London Office PA providing support to senior management.

Duties and responsibilities include:-

  • Extensive diary management; organising meetings, distribution of documents and compilation of reports.
  • Travel arrangements.
  • Minute taking and producing other reports as required.
  • Supporting secretarial activities, correspondence etc where documents may need to be in both Japanese and English.
  • Confident translation of Japanese documents into English.
  • Organising events
  • Helping with VIP visits, particularly from Head Office.
  • Organisation of staff parties.
  • Arranging meeting room bookings, room preparation, refreshments and any technical support (e.g. video conferencing etc).
  • Supporting delegate staff such as, hotel booking, car booking, medical (including medical check arrangement) and education expense,
  • Business trip support: hotel booking, car booking,
  • Helping with arrangements for internal lunches.
  • Issuance of security passes
  • budget and asset control of building and company owned houses

Skills and experience required

  • Previous secretarial and administrative experience.
  • Fluent in both English and Japanese, both written and oral
  • Must have previous minute taking experience.
  • Proficient in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  • Must be comfortable working with figures
  • Professional personal presentation, diplomatic manner and understanding of the importance of discretion and confidentiality.
  • Previous experience working within Financial Services would be advantageous but not essential.
