LMA Recruitment are partnered with a renowned, leading insurance advisory business based in the heart of the City who are seeking an HR Assistant to join their fast paced, dynamic team on a 1 year fixed term contract. You will be the first point of contact for all general HR queries and support the HR Director.

It is essential that candidates have intermediate to advanced Excel skills and ideally exposure to liaising with stakeholders.

This is an excellent opportunity to join a multinational, prestigious business within a varied, busy role with the opportunity to get involved in various exciting projects throughout the business.

Key duties:

  • To provide generalist HR advice and support for first line queries from all employees
  • Checking of HR paperwork where required (including offers of employment, leaver letters, changes to terms and conditions and maternity letters)
  • Be a key user of the HR system processing recruitment, leavers, changes to terms and conditions
  • Monitor the monthly Admin Audit report, spot check data and support with any escalated issues
  • Provide support in payroll checking processes
  • Diary and expense management for the HR Director
  • Get involved in various projects
  • Manage Work Experience process
  • Involvement in interviews as required
  • Conduct induction meetings for new employees
