Are you an HR Administrator with experience of the on boarding process?

This is a 2 month temporary assisgnment with an immediate start.

This is a fantastic opportunity for an HR Administrator with a CIPD qualification or studying towards CIPD to work within the internal talent aqusition team of a recognised brand.

Delivery of the full range of employee on boarding process, providing customer focussed, pragmatic HR operational advice, supporting both managers and potential employees.This role will be the connection between the candidate, the internal Talent Acquisition function and the employee on boarding experience, ensuring the candidate experience is second to none. The role holder will work effectively as part of a wider team and provide robust levels of customer service to a high standard.


  • Administer the employee on boarding processes including all documentation, maintaining and updating electronic and hard copy personnel record systems
  • Help to build advocacy across pre-joiner population by supporting national strategies and coordinate logistics for all efforts between point of offer and joining date
  • Establish relationships with new hires and inform them of all required documentation, process and start dates
  • Ensure timely delivery of the employee on boarding experience
  • Undertake all required pre-employment checks, updating and discussing with line manager as appropriate
  • Provide general administration support to the HR Shared Service department as required, including filing, telephone answering, scanning, photocopying and email communications
  • Act as the main point of contact for any candidate queries during the on boarding process
  • Ensure all new starter paperwork is completed and relevant information provided to Payroll and benefits providers for processing and provide line manager with induction templates and new starter checklist to ensure a smooth on boarding process for the new employee
  • Support the implementation of HR systems or databases; to enter data and maintain these accordingly as directed
  • Provide prompt, courteous and accurate customer service-oriented interactions with candidates, hiring managers and other stakeholders

Skills and Experience:

  • Good general education with minimum GCSE C or equivalent in English and Maths
  • CPP qualification / CIPD membership (or studying towards) is highly desirable
  • Sound previous generalist experience of HR administration and collation of data for payroll
  • Good verbal, written and numeracy skills.
  • Good organisational skills including ability to manage time and prioritise effectively
  • IT skills, skilled in using Microsoft Word and Excel packages and experienced in working with HR packages /databases
  • Knowledge of relevant HR policies and procedures
  • Comfortable with the demanding and sometimes complex administration that is involved with recruiting efforts
  • Decisive thinker. Able to analyse information quickly and use it to make robust decisions
  • Personally credible.Skilled in HR and takes a professional approach
