EA to Board Member - £48K-55K -City

We have an absolutely superb opportunity to work for a Board level individual who is seeking the most amazing EA to be his right hand person. Ideally the incumbent will be from a Private Equity, Asset Management or Hedge Fund background.

This opportunity is outstanding and we are looking for a totally switched on, focused EA who has true business acumen and who understands finance.

This role is a traditional EA with extensive diary management and senior stakeholder liaison, coupled with key projects and as the role evolves, true business support. (This could become an utterly immersive hybrid position, which will be exciting and dynamic as you take on various projects and work closely with the Board member).

You should have the ability to handle EA responsibilities with professionalism, skill and tenacity and be happy to support at the highest level and be a natural ambassador.

We are looking for an amazing EA who is warm and intelligent, with superb communication skills and board level experience within the finance sector ideally.

The role is a wonderful opportunity to support at the highest level to a well-known financier and senior stakeholder within an amazing inclusive business, based in luxurious offices in the City.

The role is fairly traditional to start, but will evolve for a candidate who is happy to provide support outside of work hours via email.

At Board level, expectation is high and we need a confident and poised individual who can command respect and integrate well with their colleagues who are all utterly committed to their careers and the business.

The role is supporting mainly 1:1 and we are looking for an outstanding hire who is anticipatory, team spirited and always willing to go above and beyond.

Duties are as expected at Board level, with gatekeeping playing a key part and market intelligence, poise and professionalism, tantamount.

Job spec

  • Proactive management and handling of all business communication including inbox management; this includes drafting responses for review and dealing with urgent matters personally.
  • Organising travel, hotel and restaurant bookings for all business travel arrangements worldwide including producing full and detailed itineraries
  • Acting as key point of contact with senior stakeholders.
  • Act as gate keeper i.e. screening telephone calls/emails and prioritising responses, using good judgement at all times
  • Tracking of business expenses
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent organisational skills to manage a complex and demanding diary including conflicts
  • Flexible, comfortable with working in a fast moving environment.
  • Ability to represent appropriately to senior figures within and outside the firm.
  • High level of personal responsibility in task management to ensure delivery.
