An excellent opportunity has arisen at a rapidly expanding international bank in the city for an associate with previous Leveraged Finance experience to join the team.

The team is also responsible for managing and growing the Bank's client relationships with medium to large-sized, established technology companies in the UK and Europe. The focus is typically on private and publicly listed corporate businesses with revenues in excess of £25 million. You will be responsible for supporting the financial analysis, as well as building high touch, high value external relationships.

Some of the main responsibilities within the role are, but are not limited to:

  • Evaluate prospective businesses and structure new debt facilities and global treasury solutions in order to support growth of the business.
  • Supports the Origination process through market research, preparation of pitch presentations and attendance at client meetings.
  • Build out your company and investors networks to build market knowledge and originate high quality client opportunities
  • Drive the underwriting of credits; analysing financial statements, conducting financial modelling, preparing the due diligence for new loan facilities and modifications
  • Prepare term sheets and loan documentation, (including collateral documentation) and support the booking/closing of transactions.
  • Portfolio management; monitor an assigned portfolio of debt clients, tracking financial performance and covenant compliance and proactively identifying new business and cross-sell opportunities for existing clients.
  • Contact clients directly to resolve compliance related questions and day-to-day operational inquiries.

It is essential that you have previous credit analysis experience, within structured / leveraged finance. In return they are offering a starting salary ranging between £60,000 - £70,000 dependent upon experience, plus bonus and excellent career progression opportunities.
