My client, a London based Management Consultancy, have a rare and exciting opportunity for a Company Secretariat Manager to join them on a 12 month fixed term contract.

This role will have major involvement in managing the effective delivery of the Company Secretarial statutory and contractual obligations across a portfolio of a high number of projects.

You will provide an efficient and effective secretariat service at all time whilst managing a small team.

Duties will include:

Company Secretarial:

  • Arranging and attending meetings
  • liaising with Directors, General Managers and Finance Managers
  • Drafting and preparation of meeting minutes and action points
  • Follow up on actions
  • Providing company secretarial support on major transactions
  • Coordinating and preparing responses and documentation for KYC requests
  • Record keeping and response to legal and regulatory information requests
  • Action changes in relevant legislation and regulations
  • Ensuring the timely and accurate maintenance of a statutory database of company registers
  • Assist in development and implementation of Corporate Governance Policies
  • Manage, train and develop the team providing professional support to those studying their professional exams
  • Actively promote the delivery of a Professional Company Secretarial services across the business

The ideal candidate:

  • The ideal candidate will have previous and relevant experience within a Company Secretariat Manager role, working within a complex environment where the highest standards are required
  • You will build strong business relationships with ease and be capable of working closely with and managing a team as well as working equally well alone
  • You will have extremely strong written and verbal communication skills and be able to liaise easily at all levels
  • You will be used to working in a fast paced and challenging environment, working to deadlines and targets
  • You will have advanced MS Office skills and an extremely keen eye for detail
  • You will operate with discretion at all times
  • It is essential that hold an ICSA CSQS qualification
