My client who is a London branch of an international bank based in the heart of the City is looking for a felxible and hardworking individual with some PA experience and is now looking for a full on PA role. The successful candidate will provide support primarily to the MD and adhoc support to senior managers. This is a very busy and involved role and would suit someone who is not too precious or fussy about what is required of them. This is a great opportunity for a second jobber to gain experience working for senior individuals

Duties will include:

  • Supporting the Managing Director and Assistant Managing Director with their work and diary commitments
  • Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate departments or individuals
  • Respond to queries in person, via telephone or email
  • Develop and implement office procedures
  • Maintain general company record systems to uphold accurate files
  • Fully prepare any Committee/Board report documents and packs as identified/provided by senior managers
  • Following approvals, file any relevant Committee/Board papers/minutes accordingly
  • Compose and type any correspondence letters, memos and emails as required across the whole Bank
  • Maintain up to date contact details for correspondence purposes on behalf of the MD/AMD
  • Screen documents, book meeting rooms, set up conference calls and take messages
  • Perform administrative tasks, including filing and photocopying
  • Offer administrative support to the Head of HR & Administration as and when required
  • Manage any relevant business subscriptions on behalf of MD/Bank
  • Maintain Senior Management archiving records
  • Keeping up to date with current financial crime/fraud prevention legislation and any regulatory requirements
  • Liaise with messenger regarding Board meetings, room set up and refreshment requirements and arranging lunches where necessary
