What You'll Do  

  • Collaborate closely with senior management, auditors, and cross-functional teams to ensure financial accuracy, efficiency, and support strategic decision-making.
  • Manage general ledger accounting, accruals, and reconciliations.
  • Review and verify tax filings (e.g., Sales tax, Corporate tax) prepared by external providers for accuracy and compliance.
  • Prepare and analyze monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with US GAAP and other relevant standards.
  • Lead the consolidation of group financials under US GAAP, including intercompany eliminations and reporting alignment.
  • Ensure adherence to US GAAP, tax regulations, and internal controls.
  • Organize and oversee accounting processes, including timely journal entries, accuracy, and internal controls.
  • Identify and address inefficiencies across various business functions (HR, procurement, travel, etc.).
To Be Successful in This Role  

You'll need: Education & Experience:

  • Bachelor's or Master’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • CPA (Certified Public Accountant) certification is required; additional certifications (CMA, ACCA) are a plus.
  • Minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in accounting, with solid experience as a Financial Controller or in a senior finance role.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of US GAAP, tax compliance, and financial regulations.
  • Experience working within a multinational or public company environment is preferred.
  • Proficiency with ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, QuickBooks) and advanced Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines.
  • Proven experience in driving automation and process improvements in accounting workflows and ERP systems.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Skills & Competencies:
  • Expertise in financial reporting, consolidations, and revenue recognition (ASC 606).
  • Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, NetSuite, Oracle, QuickBooks, or similar).
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a proactive mindset.
  • Excellent communication skills and adaptability to collaborate effectively with FP&A, treasury, and other finance teams to align financial strategies.
  • Strong project management skills.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Analytical thinking.
  • Leadership experience with the ability to manage and develop a high-performing team.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
