The Storekeeper 1 is a full-performance role working under general supervision and requires working knowledge of inventory control and storeroom or warehouse procedures. This position supports a one-person storeroom or a large central warehouse by receiving, storing, distributing, and tracking stock, supplies, and equipment. The role may also involve operating pharmaceutical repackaging and material-handling equipment while maintaining accurate inventory records and ensuring safety compliance. Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, inspect, unload, and distribute stock, supplies, and equipment in a one-person storeroom or central warehouse.
- Review invoices, purchase orders, and packing slips to ensure accuracy of items and quantities received.
- Inspect stock for damage and expiration dates, store items properly, and rotate inventory for efficient storage.
- Fill and deliver orders, move furniture, and process incoming and outgoing mail as needed.
- Maintain inventory records, complete related documentation, and order supplies or equipment as required.
- Clean, organize, and maintain the storeroom or warehouse area.
- Operate forklifts and other material-handling equipment to move and store stock or equipment.
- Check warehouse orders for accuracy and package items for delivery.
- Operate pharmaceutical repackaging equipment to count, fill, package, cap, and label medications, and maintain records of lot numbers and expiration dates.
- Knowledge of inventory control and storeroom or warehouse procedures.
- Basic math skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and percentages.
- Knowledge of OSHA and other applicable safety standards and practices.
- Skill in operating warehouse and pharmaceutical repackaging equipment, including forklifts.
- Ability to work independently, complete forms accurately, recognize safety risks, and lift up to 60 lbs repeatedly.
- Formal education in arithmetic including addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, fractions, and percentages.
- Minimum of 3 months of training or experience in inventory control, or equivalent qualifications.
- Ability to pass a security screening for drug central warehouse or storeroom assignments.

May be exposed to extreme temperatures while working in cold storage areas or outdoors. Additional Requirements :
If selected, a TB test and drug screen must be initiated within 48 hours of the start date.
