Position Summary:

The Project Services Coordinator supports the vocational rehabilitation program by managing case data, coordinating customer services, and providing administrative and technical support to professional staff. This role involves maintaining accurate case documentation, assisting in eligibility determination, and ensuring seamless communication between customers, counselors, and service providers. The coordinator also plays an active role in community outreach, education, and job fairs to promote program awareness and engagement.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process case data, including applications, eligibility information, Individualized Plans for Employment, case notes, closures, and authorizations.

  • Communicate directly with customers to gather referral information and arrange vocational, psychological, and medical evaluations.

  • Conduct interviews with potential customers to explain vocational rehabilitation services and assist in eligibility determination.

  • Provide administrative and technical support by processing data, preparing reports, documenting activities, and responding to community inquiries.

  • Schedule customer appointments, maintain contact with clients, and process vendor invoices after counselor approval.

  • Participate in community events, school visits, and job fairs to promote program awareness.

  • Assist counselors by inputting casework data, preparing authorizations, and maintaining case files throughout the rehabilitation process.

  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Proficiency in MS Word, Google Docs, and Excel.

  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities.

  • Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality when handling client information.

  • Willingness to travel locally to schools and other designated areas.

Education:

  • Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services field.

  • Accepted: Associate’s degree with coursework or experience in psychology, social work, education, or special education.
