Monroe Consulting Group, an Executive Recruitment firm, is partnering with an organisation in the Industrial sector to hire a Product Specialist – Premium. This opportunity is based in Selangor, Malaysia.
Position Overview
This role is responsible for driving sales growth across a premium portfolio of industrial tools and equipment through effective customer engagement and dealer management.
It plays a key role in expanding market presence, strengthening client relationships, and contributing to the organisation’s commercial success.
Key Responsibilities
• Handle sales of company’s range of hand tools, power tools, pneumatic power tools, metal cutting saws and automotive servicing equipment
• Approach and penetrate key account dealers and end-users
• Attend to sales enquiries, establish rapport and maintain good relationship with dealers and end-users
• Increase customer base to achieve sales target
• Provide technical support and training to dealers and end-users
Key Requirements
- Qualifications & Experience
- Diploma / Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
- 2 to 3 years of industrial sales experience
- Experience in managing dealers / end-users will be an advantage
- Technical / Functional Expertise
- Knowledge and experience in handling hand tools, power tools, pneumatic power tools, metal cutting saws and automotive servicing equipment
- Ability to provide technical support and training to dealers and end-users
- Soft Skills & Leadership Competencies
- Team player with a mature personality and the ability to work independently under pressure
- Good command of spoken and written English
- Must possess own vehicle
- Ex- RSAF Regular technician
