The Mail Processor II will support corporate mailroom by performing digital printing and mail-processing duties using large production printers and inserter machines. This role requires a detail-oriented, fast-paced individual who can meet strict turnaround times while handling sensitive healthcare information in a 24/7/365 environment.
The position involves printing, folding, and inserting materials into various envelopes, applying postage, verifying documentation, and ensuring all mail jobs are completed accurately within defined deadlines. Candidates must be comfortable standing for long periods, lifting up to 50 lbs, multitasking, and adapting to workflow changes. Roles & Responsibilities:- Multitask in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Meet strict turnaround and processing deadlines.
- Operate large digital production printers; clear jams and maintain stock levels.
- Operate high-volume mail inserter machines; handle mechanical aspects confidently.
- Perform printing, folding, inserting, labeling, postage stamping, and documentation verification.
- Work efficiently using Microsoft Office Suite and internal systems.
- Handle sensitive healthcare information with accuracy and confidentiality.
- Lift and move envelope/paper boxes up to 50 lbs.
- Remain on feet for most of the shift.
- Collaborate effectively with team members to maintain a positive workplace.
- Stay flexible with operational changes and varying workloads.
- Verifiable High School Diploma or GED (Required)
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for full shifts.
- Proficiency with general Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to multitask in a time-sensitive environment.
- Prior experience working with:
- Large digital copiers or production printers
- Inserters or mailing machines
- General mail-handling tasks
- Strong customer service mindset and team-oriented attitude.
- Strong attention to detail
- Mechanical aptitude for printer/inserter troubleshooting
