Description:
- The Department of Administration, Division of Legal Services is in need of a temporary administrative assistant (preferably with some legal background) to assist our office.
- Some of the duties include, but are not limited to:
- Answering phones, etc.
- Data entry (entering/updating legal cases in our legal case management system).
- Scanning.
- Scheduling meetings/hearings.
- Typing and sending out letters, etc.
- Records retention (sending legal records off to storage).
- Various projects on an as needed basis.
- Must be a team player and be able to multi-task in a busy legal department.
Requirement:
- Must be able to multi-task, team player and superior phone and email skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Outlook, Adobe.
Preferred Skills/experience:
- Prefer candidates with prior legal experience.
- Previous meeting scheduling experience a plus.
