The Department of Administration is seeking a full-time Human Resource Analyst II to support the Talent Management Unit (TMU). This position plays a critical role in advancing talent management initiatives across state departments and supporting a broad range of HR operations. The HR Analyst will contribute to recruitment, onboarding, personnel processing, and employee relations, ensuring effective and timely HR service delivery.
The ideal candidate will bring strong organizational skills, current HR expertise, and a proactive approach to managing workflows. This role is 100% onsite in Providence, RI and reports directly to the Human Resources Administrator for Talent Management.
Key Responsibilities:-
Manage recruitment processes including job postings, onboarding, and new hire orientation

Process personnel transactions such as step increases, transfers, terminations, and leaves

Monitor vacancies and ensure timely submission of Personnel Action Requests (PARs)

Support employee relations and respond to benefits or leave inquiries

Maintain confidential HR records and complete required reports

Collaborate with internal stakeholders to meet talent objectives

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in HR or talent management roles

Strong communication skills (written and verbal)

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and ability to adapt to new systems

Ability to handle confidential information with discretion

Independent worker with sound judgment and time management
