Job Title: Human Resources Analyst I (Disability Management Unit)
Location: Providence, RI 02908
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30AM - 4:30PM (Onsite)
Contract Type: 3 months
Key Responsibilities:
- Support and manage employee leave and disability cases, including FMLA, ADA, Workers’ Compensation, and EAP programs.
- Serve as the main point of contact between employees, managers, HR teams, and external partners for leave-related issues, ensuring professional and confidential communication.
- Track, review, and maintain all documentation and correspondence for leave and disability cases with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, organizational policies, and collective bargaining agreements.
- Provide guidance to managers on leave responsibilities, demonstrating sound judgment, empathy, and clear communication.
- Prepare reports, analyze case data, and share key findings or recommendations with leadership to support process improvements.
- Balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while delivering responsive, reliable, and solution-oriented service.
- Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive information, adapting to changing needs and priorities as required.
Required Skills:
- 1–3 years of experience in Human Resources, Disability Management, or Leave Administration.
- Knowledge of FMLA, ADA, and Workers’ Compensation regulations.
- Experience using HR systems or databases; Workday preferred.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong written and verbal communication with the ability to engage effectively across multiple levels of the organization.
- Dependable, adaptable, and able to manage confidential information with professionalism.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
- Equivalent work experience considered.
