Job Title: Human Resources Analyst I (Disability Management Unit)
Location: Providence, RI 02908
Schedule: Monday – Friday, 8:30AM - 4:30PM (Onsite)
Contract Type: 3 months


Key Responsibilities:

  • Support and manage employee leave and disability cases, including FMLA, ADA, Workers’ Compensation, and EAP programs.
  • Serve as the main point of contact between employees, managers, HR teams, and external partners for leave-related issues, ensuring professional and confidential communication.
  • Track, review, and maintain all documentation and correspondence for leave and disability cases with accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Ensure compliance with federal and state regulations, organizational policies, and collective bargaining agreements.
  • Provide guidance to managers on leave responsibilities, demonstrating sound judgment, empathy, and clear communication.
  • Prepare reports, analyze case data, and share key findings or recommendations with leadership to support process improvements.
  • Balance multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while delivering responsive, reliable, and solution-oriented service.
  • Maintain confidentiality and professionalism when handling sensitive information, adapting to changing needs and priorities as required.

Required Skills:
  • 1–3 years of experience in Human Resources, Disability Management, or Leave Administration.
  • Knowledge of FMLA, ADA, and Workers’ Compensation regulations.
  • Experience using HR systems or databases; Workday preferred.
  • Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Strong written and verbal communication with the ability to engage effectively across multiple levels of the organization.
  • Dependable, adaptable, and able to manage confidential information with professionalism.

Education:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Equivalent work experience considered.
