Our respected client is seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead end-to-end human resources functions and support organizational growth within their manufacturing operations.
This role plays a critical part in driving talent strategy, workforce planning, and labor relations to ensure a high-performing and compliant factory environment. The job is based in Solo, Indonesia.
Job Description:
- Develop and continuously enhance recruitment strategies, processes, and tools to improve hiring efficiency and talent quality across the organization.
- Partner closely with business leaders and line managers to understand workforce requirements and build strong, sustainable talent pipelines.
- Lead workforce planning and manpower optimization in line with factory operations and expansion plans, ensuring the right talent is in place to support business growth.
- Proactively identify talent gaps and implement strategic hiring initiatives to secure critical roles.
- Oversee employee relations and labor communications, ensuring a stable, productive, and compliant working environment.
- Establish and monitor labor risk control mechanisms in accordance with Indonesian labor laws and regulatory requirements.
- Support the development of local leadership teams through recruitment, training, and organizational development initiatives.
- Drive organizational development programs to enhance leadership capability, team effectiveness, and overall performance.
- Execute group HR policies, systems, and initiatives at the plant level, ensuring alignment with regional and global standards.
- Lead or contribute to HR projects and transformation initiatives to support broader business objectives.
Key Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree or above in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum 8 years of HR management experience, ideally within manufacturing or plant-based environments.
- Strong knowledge of Southeast Asia labor laws, industrial relations, and recruitment channels, including campus hiring strategies.
- Proven experience in organizational restructuring, talent development, and labor risk management.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multicultural environment.
- Strong leadership capability with experience managing and developing HR teams.
- Fluency in English and Mandarin (spoken and written) is essential for regional and cross-border communication.
