Executive recruitment consultant Monroe Consulting Group Indonesia is recruiting on behalf of a leading global footwear manufacturing company. Our respected client is seeking a Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Manager to drive financial strategy, performance analysis, and operational efficiency within their manufacturing plant.

This role plays a critical part in supporting factory operations through robust financial planning, cost control, and data-driven decision-making. The job is based in Solo, Indonesia.

Job Description:

  • Lead the factory’s Annual Operating Plan (AOP), including budgeting, forecasting, and financial performance tracking, delivering actionable insights to support business objectives.
  • Optimize financial processes, internal controls, and reporting frameworks to enhance operational efficiency, accuracy, and compliance with group standards.
  • Analyze financial and management reports to identify key risks, cost drivers, and opportunities for performance improvement across the plant.
  • Oversee transaction reviews and manage cash flow planning, including coordination of annual, quarterly, and monthly budgeting cycles.
  • Partner closely with cross-functional teams (Production, Supply Chain, HR, and Operations) to support strategic initiatives, cost optimization, and continuous improvement programs.
  • Develop and deliver clear, data-driven financial insights through dashboards, reports, and visualizations to support management decision-making.

Key Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree or above in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in FP&A, business controlling, or manufacturing finance, preferably within a factory or plant environment.
  • Proven ability to independently develop financial models, reports, and performance analysis.
  • Strong proficiency in advanced Excel; experience with data visualization tools such as Power BI is highly preferred.
  • Solid understanding of manufacturing finance processes, including costing, budgeting, and operational finance, with the ability to link shop-floor activities to financial outcomes.
  • Excellent cross-functional communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to drive alignment and execution.
  • Strong analytical mindset with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
  • Fluency in English is required; Mandarin is an advantage for regional communication.
