Work Location: Remote – Working offsite from Caremark Location (Anywhere in the U.S.)
Contract Duration: 6 Months Full Time 40 Hours per Week
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM, 8:30 AM – 4:30 PM, or 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM (Onsite as needed)
Position Summary:
We are seeking Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analyst to support the Manufacturer Contract Information System (MCIS) team. This role will manage day-to-day financial operations related to manufacturer contract entries, ensuring data accuracy, compliance, and process integrity within the MCIS database.
The FP&A Analyst will perform both qualitative and quantitative reviews of contracts negotiated by the Trade Relations team and provide analytical and reporting support to internal and external business partners. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong attention to detail, financial acumen, and the ability to manage multiple projects within tight deadlines.
This role will also involve financial analysis, data validation, and reporting, along with participation in user testing and system enhancement projects within MCIS.
Key Responsibilities:
- Enter manufacturer contracts and bids into the MCIS database with high accuracy and compliance.
- Perform financial analysis and quality assurance checks on contract and bid entries to ensure accuracy and alignment with Trade Relations agreements.
- Develop, maintain, and deliver reporting for internal and external business partners.
- Collaborate with the Trade Relations team to address contract or bid-related inquiries and resolve discrepancies.
- Participate in User Acceptance Testing (UAT) for new MCIS enhancements and support Extreme Programming (XP) initiatives.
- Support management in the development of ad-hoc financial reports and performance dashboards.
- Train colleagues on MCIS functionality and provide demonstrations for new or non-users.
- Maintain and strengthen relationships with Trade Relations, FP&A, and other partner teams.
- Minimum 1 year of professional experience in finance, accounting, or a related field.
- Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience with Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data validation, etc.).
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on data accuracy and quality control.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
- 3+ years of experience using Microsoft Excel.
- Experience in Healthcare Finance or PBM (Pharmacy Benefit Management) environments.
- Prior exposure to contract interpretation and financial modeling.
- Experience supporting or testing database systems (such as MCIS or similar).
- Familiarity with ad-hoc reporting and business analysis tools.
- Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience required.
