Job Title: Accounts Payable Analyst
Duration: 3 months contract

Hours: 40 hours per week
Shift: Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM to 5:00 PM EST
Type : Hybrid (Onsite Tuesday & Wednesday, Remote Monday, Thursday & Friday)

Position Summary:
The Accounts Payable Analyst will be called upon to execute a variety of AP responsibilities based on evolving department and business needs. These include executing priority payments, reviewing invoices, vendor account maintenance, printing/processing checks, and triaging mail received in-office. The Accounts Payable Analyst will also support offshore AP teams by analyzing and researching open invoices, deductions, discrepancies, and quality assurance; working with the team to communicate with vendors and all departments within the organization to address requests and inquiries; collaborating with our offshore counterparts; and other support tasks as needed.
 
Responsibilities:
  • Review and process upload submissions into the AP system.
  • Analyze accounts payable transactions and respond to inquiries effectively.
  • Communicate with external stakeholders regarding AP inquiries to maintain working relationships.
  • Conduct routine communications with vendors to resolve AP-related inquiries.
  • Perform returned mail triage and research for general mail and returned checks.
  • Execute priority payments, review invoices, vendor account maintenance, printing/processing checks, and triage incoming mail.
  • Support offshore AP teams by analyzing/researching open invoices, deductions, discrepancies, and quality assurance.
  • Collaborate with vendors, internal departments, and offshore teams to resolve issues.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • 2–3 years of Accounts Payable or similar experience.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Sense of urgency with proven ability to resolve issues timely.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills (email and phone).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
  • Experience with SAP (preferred).

Education:
  • Verifiable High School Diploma or GED (required).
  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business (preferred).
