Position Summary:
The Accounts Payable Analyst will be called upon to execute a variety of AP responsibilities based on evolving department and business needs. These include executing priority payments, reviewing invoices, vendor account maintenance, printing/processing checks, and triaging mail received in-office. The Accounts Payable Analyst will also support offshore AP teams by analyzing and researching open invoices, deductions, discrepancies, and quality assurance; working with the team to communicate with vendors and all departments within the organization to address requests and inquiries; collaborating with our offshore counterparts; and other support tasks as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Review and process upload submissions into the AP system.
- Analyze accounts payable transactions and respond to inquiries effectively.
- Communicate with external stakeholders regarding AP inquiries to maintain working relationships.
- Conduct routine communications with vendors to resolve AP-related inquiries.
- Perform returned mail triage and research for general mail and returned checks.
- Execute priority payments, review invoices, vendor account maintenance, printing/processing checks, and triage incoming mail.
- Support offshore AP teams by analyzing/researching open invoices, deductions, discrepancies, and quality assurance.
- Collaborate with vendors, internal departments, and offshore teams to resolve issues.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2–3 years of Accounts Payable or similar experience.
- Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks to meet deadlines.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
- Sense of urgency with proven ability to resolve issues timely.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills (email and phone).
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Outlook.
- Experience with SAP (preferred).
Education:
- Verifiable High School Diploma or GED (required).
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business (preferred).
