Global Category Manager
We are seeking an experienced Category Manager for a leading manufacturing company based in Berkshire. This immediate opportunity will be offered as an interim contractor and commitment till the end of March 2023 is essential. Joining their successful Procurement team, your sole accountability will be to manage the procurement of the temporary labour within the Professional Services space. L&D Business Partner
Are you an experienced L&D Business Partner looking for your next contract? If so, we want to hear from you! LMA Recruitment HR team are supporting a British institution who operate internationally within the culture and education sector. They require an experienced L&D Business Partner on an interim basis until the end of March 2023. Key responsibilities will include: Coordinating the development and driving delivery of the learning and development plan through engagement as required with portfolio/sector leads, team leaders, functional leads and managers. Managing the professional development fund process, ensuring the purpose is clearly communicated, the administration of the fund efficiently administered, decision-making is objective and transparent, providing equality of access to all in scope. Gather data on the business' learning and development needs and liaise with senior management to confirm these. Confirm existing priority development areas for 2023/24 as required. Advise managers on learning interventions required within the business unit (e.g. coaching, job-shadowing, online training) Provide professional inputs to procurement of L&D services and resources Monitor and report on the completion of learning and development plans and recommend changes to approach as needed to increase effectiveness Report at least twice annually on agreed spending on L&D (including professional development fund) and recommend adjustments to the plan and to expected spend on the basis of this Work with multiple teams including Centre of Excellence, Global Resource Management and EDI to integrate learning development with relevant policy, systems, tools and processes. The role will include typical HR Administration duties and requires someone who enjoys working in a fast paced environment and using their initiative. Responsibilities will include: Preparing offer letters, contracts and starter packs / HR files for new starters, ensuring right to work documentation is received and recorded. Processing of all new/starters/leavers and changes in to the personnel system. Obtaining references for new employees, applying for criminal record checks. Key data management e.g. fixed term contracts, secondments, probation periods and work experience. Ensuring all processes are updated and are adhered to, supporting the different parts of the business to complete processes related to governance and compliance. Being the first point of contact for all HR queries from all stakeholders Processing invoices. Resignation acknowledgement letters. Reference letters and mortgage/rent applications. Update all spreadsheets and systems with accurate information. Updating organisational charts. Accountable for updating the Company intranet. Sending out internal communication across the business Ensuring all payroll submissions are completed in a timely manner. Managing all payroll related queries in conjunction with the Payroll Manager. Support the HR Admin to ensure the HR system is updated in line with starters, leavers and changes. The ideal candidate will have previous HR experience or a recent HR qualification.
