Hi! I’m Shakera and I joined LMA in July 2018. I’ve just
graduated from Aston University in Birmingham with a degree in HR, along with a
placement year in IT recruitment. I thoroughly enjoyed the buzz from closing
deals and winning business, as well as the fulfilment of helping a candidate
find their next role!
I decided I wanted a new challenge in a different sector and a
supportive team and LMA have so far proved to be just that and more! I’m really
excited to develop my knowledge of Risk and Quants within Financial Services
and what better place to be than the heart of London. I settled in really well
within my first week and there’s been no such thing as a stupid question! The
positive energy throughout the office really helps you power through the tough
days and achievements are always acknowledged, no matter how big or small.
I’m looking forward to developing my career and hope to make a
positive contribution to the team!
