LMA are proud to have signed the Gender Equality Charter

At LMA one of our primary goals has always been to support women in recruitment and the drive for gender equality.

Therefore, we are proud members of Women in Recruitment and their pledge to provide support to all of us who work within recruitment, so we can attract, develop and retain our female talent.

To show our continued support and to provide a tangible demonstration of a commitment to gender equality for our clients and candidates, we have willingly chosen to sign Women in Recruitment’s Gender Equality Charter.

The Gender Equality Charter is a public commitment by recruitment firms to promote gender equality and advance the careers of women throughout their business.

By signing the charter it shows that we at LMA are committed to drive gender equality in all we do. We aim to support women in the areas of recruitment, retention, training and development and career progression and to ensure there are equal opportunities to senior positions irrespective of gender.

By showing our commitment we truly believe that not only will we be supporting gender equality, which is essential to reflect society today, but we will be better placed to attract and retain the very best talent for ourselves and our clients and provide the levels of service that continue to make us leaders in our field.

By signing the charter LMA will:
  • Strive to achieve best practice in our recruitment, career progression and retention practices as employers.
  • Aim to empower our female employees to achieve their full potential by encouraging their participation in Women in Recruitment events and activities.
  • Support the development of good gender equality practice by collecting and sharing examples of practical activities that contribute to progress with other signatories.
  • Assign responsibility for meeting our charter commitments to a named, senior level individual.
  • Work together to develop and adopt future protocols that support the practical implementation of the aims of this charter.
  • Annually publish the gender profile of our UK employees and details of our work on gender equality in line with legislation.
Together we can work to stop the gender gap and support women in advancing their careers.
