My client who is a non for profit organisation, based in the West End is looking for an experienced secretary to provide full secretarial and administrative support to a team of professionals in the education department.

Reporting to a director, your duties will include:

  • Provide diary management and administrative support to the Leadership team
  • Update and maintain the central database of participants, in line with GDPR protocols (including use of MailChimp mass-marketing software)
  • Prepare papers and take minutes for internal and governance meetings
  • Process incoming applications for opportunities in line with agreed procedures
  • Track team actions emanating from meetings
  • Process and despatch orders for paper resources
  • Support in the management of outgoing communications (e.g. mail-merge collation)
  • Respond appropriately to incoming telephone and e-mail queries from customers Skills and experience required:

    • Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Ability to draft letters, reports and minutes.
    • Excellent word-processing skills and familiarity with Microsoft Office software.
    • Good interpersonal and communication skills, both oral and in writing
    • Ability to deal with a wide range of external contacts in a professional manner.
    • Good organisational skills with a clear attention to detail.
    • Good time management and the ability to be proactive in planning and executing tasks.
    • Ability to work within a small team and to be adaptable.
    • Ability to work effectively under pressure and to maintain appropriate levels of confidentiality.
