A leading international financial services firm are looking to appoint into a newly created Talent Acquisition Partner to lead on their direct hiring strategy in the UK. This permanent position will be based from their Essex office with regular travel to London.

Working with the international Talent Acquisition function, the successful candidate will need to have proven direct hiring experience working in a global matrix structure organisation.

The Talent Acquisition Partner is responsible for working closely with Hiring Managers, HR Directors and Heads of Business to identify and implement all direct sourcing recruitment activities.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to include:

  • Develop and implement cost effective sourcing strategies to deliver recruiting results
  • Support building company brand in the market and work with communications and branding to create materials about the firm to provide to agencies (when required)in order to promote the brand and represent us fully
  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with hiring managers, agencies, search firms, and other HR team members to create a partnership that yields success, results and credibility
  • Develop and maintain a network of contacts to help identify and source qualified candidates
  • Target key roles where we can source directly to reduce the cost of recruitment
  • Work with procurement to maintain the preferred supplier list whilst ensuring we remain competitive
  • Develop a clear view of market rates for roles in order to drive down agency costs and increase quality of candidates
  • Work with learning and development to develop appropriate selection methods for key roles
  • Provide advice on using selection tools, such as ability and psychometric tests to inform better hiring decisions
  • Work with the MI Manager to set up effective recruitment reporting and use data to inform recruitment decisions
