My client is an International Banking institution who provide the complete suite of Banking products to both commercial and retail clients.

They are currently seeking two addiitional people to join their HR function with specific responsibility for Industrial Relations. These positions will support the Senior Manager for Employee Relations in the day to day delivery of the industrial Relations strategy to enable the Bank to achive its business objectives.

Key responsibilities will include;

Provision of Industrial Relations advice and guidance on all aspects of business change to ensure that the employee relations climate remains stable.

Support with Trade Union consultation on all aspects of business change including any potential head count reductions.

Work closely with the Senior Employee Relations manager with the delivery of the negotiation strategy to effectively deliver the annual pay review successfully without dispute.

Respond to Trade Union issues and queries so that issues are resloved at the earliest opportunity.

Required Experience;

Previous experience of working with Trade Unions including understanding of industrial relations issues , strategies and environment.

Ability to build and manage relationships with multiple stakeholders operating at executive and senior management level.

Proven ability to provide constructive challenge when required.

Excellent written communication skills as this position will frequently draft detailed presentations.
