Immediate Start - Temp to Perm Suit a polished second jobber!

My client who is a very well established and highly successful boutique investment house is looking for a very bright second jobber with previous hospitality/reception and admin experience to provide support to a busy office manager and the back office staff. This is an excellent opportunity to grow and develop with a view to becoming a PA. The ideal candidate need to a self-starter/motivator and be happy to do a stand-alone role but equally be a team player.

Main duties and responsibilities:-

  • Ensure the smooth running of the reception area and meeting rooms
  • Meeting and greeting all visitors and booking and preparing meeting rooms including providing refreshments and lunches
  • Setting up video conferences
  • Answering the switchboard and transferring calls
  • Arranging local and international couriers, booking taxis, etc
  • Dealing with post
  • Processing expenses
  • Ordering stationery and other office supplies
  • Liaising with cleaning team
  • Act as Deputy Fire Warden
  • Assist office manager re. overflow of work, typing documents, booking travel etc.Skills and experience required:-
  • Good standard of education - preferrably graduate calibre
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills
  • Previous reception and admin skills essential
  • Excellent telephone manner
  • High attention to detail
  • Self starter who is highly organised
  • Task finisher
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite
  • Strong administrative skills
