LMA are working with a leading global financial services organisation in the search for a Payroll officer to join the team at their Essex based office in Chelmsford. This role is the ideal opportunity for someone looking to strengthen their skillset and further their career within Payroll whilst working within a dynamic, fast-paced international financial services organisation.

The role is to support their busy Payroll team, in correlation with the company's continued growth. As Payroll officer you will be required to assist on monthly payroll using the Oracle, to have knowledge of this system will be highly beneficial. A few other responsibilities will include but not be limited to:

  • To assist with reconciling on a monthly basis the income tax and NI balances.
  • To work on the year-end form P35 on an accurate and timely manner for submission to HMRC.
  • To administer season ticket arrangements for staff
  • To keep up-to-date with changes in payroll and taxation legislation that may impact on the processing and payment of remuneration.

The successful candidate will have a good understanding of FCA rules and regulations and have a good understanding of payroll legislation. You will need to be able to work well at a fast pace and work towards deadlines. You will also have a good knowledge of Microsoft word and excel.

This role is a permanent position, paying up to £34,000 with addional benefits.
