A new exciting opportunity has become available at an International Bank for a Client Services Officer with Payments Filtering.

The candidate will have:

  • Maintain and promote an efficient and high quality service to all internal and external clients
  • Carry out any other duties as required by the Head of Client Services or in their absence, the Deputy Head of Client Services
  • Investigate account enquiries, from both internal and external csources, and respond in a professional, polite and timely manner
  • Distribute statements to customers and departments
  • Issue client cheque books
  • Process cheque collections/clearing on behalf of clients
  • Process client payment instructions by calling the customer back, checking signatures and balances
  • Action and maintenance of diary cards
  • Issue internet banking passwords and assist clients with internet banking enquiries
  • Issue client debit cards and assist with debit card enquiries
  • Maintain cash levels for the vault, ordering, counting and checking when required as well as reconciling the ordering entries
  • Accurate maintenance of internal spreadsheets and record keeping
  • Operate a cash desk ensuring all payments and receipts are authorised, accurate and complete and processed in accordance with procedures in both GDP and currency
  • Offer feedback to and share best practice with team members as required so that their individual and collective performance meets the current and future needs of the business
  • Support changes to systems, processes and working practices in order to achieve operational improvement
  • Support and embrace a culture of compliance, conduct risk and continuous improvement
  • Process FirstSave postal applications, maturities, queries and payments
  • Authorise Flexcube entries when requested to do so by the Head/ Deputy Head of Client Services
  • Ensure all payment filtering queries in the SafeWatch system are released or escalated in accordance with the procedures set

The candidate will have:

  • Experience in client facing role
  • Payments filtering experience is essential
  • Strong communication and IT skills
