LMA Is delighted to be working with a Global employer in the Hertfordshire area for the recruitment of an Interim Payroll Manager.

The Payroll Manager will be responsible for Managing a payroll of over 2000 employees and will manage a small team based in the UK and overseas. You will be the point of escalation for all payroll queries and will work closely with internal and external stake holders to bridge to gap between employee and local provider.

Responsibilities include:

  • Manage Payroll team to deliver timely and accurate Payrolls
  • Be responsible for the monthly sign off of all payrolls
  • Month end reconciliation
  • Keep up to date with and legislative or regulatory changes
  • Management and oversight of modified PAYE Data to management consultancy partner
  • Manage Year end and Beginning of year activities, FPS, EPS
  • P60 production
  • P11ds
  • PAYE Settlement agreements
  • Pensions reporting
  • Work with internal and external auditors
  • Manage relationships with external vendors and drive SLAs
  • Build key relationships across HR, Finance, Tax, Pensions, Reward
  • Review current Payroll processes and drive efficiencies

Due to the size of the organisation this role will be a high volume and fast paced role with tight deadlines and complex payroll procedures, experience of working in a similar size organisation is highly desirable.
