A large, global professional services firm are looking to hire an experienced HR Business Partner to join them ASAP for a period of 4-6 months on an interim basis supporting their technology division.

Reporting to the HR Director for this client group, this role will provide strategic HR advice and guidance to business leaders including but not limited to:

  • Working with the business area leadership on strategic workforce planning including organisation shape and needs, required competencies and resource expenditure objectives aligned to the business longer term strategy and shorter term plans.
  • Provide business area leadership with relevant and meaningful support and advice on organisational issues, influencing business decisions with relevant metrics and insights and taking the HR lead in identifying and sponsoring any new people related activity.
  • Engage with the business area leader to develop and deliver talent and capability and assess organisational health to meet appropriate growth plans, assessing and reviewing talent in order to identify high potential talent, emerging leadership capability and specific capability for critical role positions to deliver on the evolving organisation needs.

This role requires a candidate who has/is:

  • Ideally have experience of working in a partnership and highly matrixed organisation
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • A strong relationship builder and business partner with a proven ability to influence, consult, coach, provide constructive challenge, educate and advise Partners and Senior Executives at the same time as maintaining effective relationships.
  • Strong business, commercial and financial acumen.
  • Able to anticipate trends, insights within the context of the business environment and using appropriate metrics and bring HR expertise to business discussions and decision making.
  • Ability to work with key stakeholder to understand and drive business shape and make plans accordingly
  • Ability to understand risk management and apply appropriately to identify and mitigate
  • Experienced in OD and supporting the business in leading change initiatives to gain the trust, confidence and respect of business leadership in delivering and measuring results.
