LMA are working with a leading global Financial Services in the search for a HR Generalist to be focused on projects for a 12 month Fixed Term Contract.

You will work as part of the HR Team, reporting to the project lead. This role will be responsible for ensuring that the company is fully compliant in time for the new Senior Management and Certificate Regulation. A few of you're the duties will include but not be limited to:

  • Amend contracts/addendum for Certification to cover SMCR
  • Work with the US to build updated contracts into myHR
  • Document SOPs covering Recruitment, Training and Competence,
  • CPD, Regulatory References, Handover Procedures and appropriate HR
  • policies
  • Work with Compliance to develop and implement appropriate SMCR
  • training and monitor completion rates
  • Work with system supplier to set up and test SMCR system
  • (likely to be Broker Assess)
  • Work with HR MI Manager to build SMCR reporting
  • Support project lead to ensure delivery of the communication
  • plan
  • Monitor SMCR joiners and leavers and update system accordingly
  • Document certification process and carry out annual check/s
  • (criminal/credit tbc) for annual certification process
  • Ensure delivery of appropriate training to new hires
  • Review monthly SMCR reports and action as appropriate

This role will be based in Chelmsford and there will be a large amount of flexibility if you wish to work from home, however you will be expected to get into the office at least 2-3 times a week.
