HR Manager - West End - £55,000 - £65,000 plus excellent bens

We have a simply outstanding opportunity to join an extremely prestigious high performing finance house, working within an HR team of 3, reporting directly to the Head of HR.

As the HR Generalist, you have an amazing opportunity to support the HR function of this extremely successful investment company in the heart of Mayfair.

Supporting circa 70 permanent employees, (including HNWI), you will be naturally customer service focused and adept at building relationships across all levels of the business.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working within Financial Services, (ideally within the Investment industry) and have a good working knowledge of the procedures and processes required at each stage of the employee lifecycle. Working closely with the Head of HR, the candidate will have the opportunity to deepen their understanding of HR policy and strategy and will be responsible for leading ad hoc projects.

As part of a fast-paced environment, it is crucial that the you are resourceful, adaptable, with a sharp eye for detail and most importantly, develop an understanding of the Company's culture and employee base. Being collaborative, solutions orientated, and prioritising workflow is essential to embrace the high standards of the organisation and help strengthen the HR department's culture of first-class service and support.

You will be based in outstanding offices and the hours are 8.45 - 5.45 with a little flex.

Duties and responsibilities include:

General
* Work closely with the Head of HR to manage all aspects of the HR function
* First point of contact for staff and responsibility for managing the HR shared inbox
* Manage the full employee life cycle, including recruitment
* Administer the current appraisal process with a view to redesigning/ enhancing
* Complete bi-annual training needs analysis and support staff in CPD
* Prepare monthly and ad-hoc HR management information
* Manage internal and external audits
* Administer the Company benefits
* Ad hoc project work as required

Policies

* Ensure compliance of HR policies and procedures by remaining up to date with best practice, anticipating changes in the law and implementing changes in policy/working practices as required.
* Provide support, guidance, and advice to line managers within the business on all HR and ER related matters, in a professional and timely manner

Compensation/ Payroll

* Supervise the monthly and quarterly payroll processes and the end of year payroll reporting tasks
* Responsible for the ongoing management of Employee Self-Service System and share scheme system
* Manage relationship with pension providers and notify them of any starters, leavers and of any changes to salary data
* Support the Head of HR with the annual remuneration cycle, including providing external and internal benchmarking data. Responsibility for creation of annual compensation packs for staff.

Skills / Attributes Required

* Experienced HR generalist within Financial Services, ideally Investment
* CIPD qualified (minimum Level 3)
* Experience with HRIS systems
* Excellent written style with exceptional attention to detail
* Proactive, well organised and deadline oriented
* A self-starting attitude, pragmatic and able to work independently within a flat organisational structure
* Mindset of continuous improvement
* The highest professional and personal standards
