A leading global technology company requires an experienced EA to support their Chief Technology Officer. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for an innovative, multinational organisation, supporting an ambitious and inspirational board member.

Key Responsibilities

  • Organising and expediting the flow of work through the CTO's office, acting as liaison between other departments' personnel and the CTO, maintaining strict confidentiality. Working closely with the CTO leadership team to ensure CTO divisional coordination is proactive, efficient and communicative.
  • Scheduling meetings, teleconferences and videoconferences (internally and externally, domestically and internationally), and maintaining the CTO's calendar and schedule. Organising complex travel schedules and requirements.
  • Developing a practical working knowledge of the organisational structure of key business areas, ensuring there is regular, appropriate contact with CTO.
  • Arranging and managing the CTO's financial budget, raising PO's, approving PR's, managing Concur expenses and other financial items.
  • Proactively monitoring and, where necessary, responding to written and verbal enquiries, exercising key decisions as to appropriate actions.
  • Managing an 'open door' policy - ensuring dissemination of messages and information across CTO
  • Providing ad-hoc support to the wider CTO team as required (Budget, PRs, POs, travel and events coordination).
  • Acting as a back up to the day-to-day office management and providing back up to other EA's during vacation or absence.
  • Working effectively as an integral member of a team

Skills and Experience

  • Experience of supporting C-level executives, within a large global environment, is essential
  • Highly organised with a keen eye for detail
  • An effective gatekeeper who is also a "people person" with excellent communication skills at all levels
  • Reliable and trustworthy
  • An expert user of Microsoft Office - particularly PowerPoint
  • Ability to be discreet and confidential
