A leading global technology company requires an experienced Executive Assistant /PMO Coordinator to support their Chief People Officer and assist with HR projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to support an inspirational board member and get involved in a variety of exciting initiatives within a range of HR specialisms.

Key Responsibilities

  • EA support to the CPO including diary and inbox management, arranging international travel and expenses
  • Liaising with HR to co-ordinate the PMO activity across all HR projects and initiatives.
  • Influencing HR projects with the CPO and/or Project lead.
  • Scheduling meetings, teleconferences and videoconferences (internally and externally, domestically and internationally).
  • Supporting the wider HR Operations team as needed.

Essential Knowledge and Skills:

  • Previous EA experience within a fast paced professional environment is essential
  • Previous experience within an HR environment is essential
  • Experience of Project Co-ordination
  • A high degree of organisational skills with excellent attention to detail and an ability to plan and prioritise workload.
  • Tact, ability to develop contact and build relationships, diplomacy.
  • Excellent inter-personal and communication skills and a good command of the English language
  • A high energy level with a dynamic, positive style. Open, assertive manner and good humour.
  • A highly proactive approach, the perception to instigate improvements and initiative to follow through
  • A high level of commitment, punctuality and a willingness to adapt working hours to the demands of the workload.
  • Fully conversant with Microsoft Office and in-house packages and procedures.
  • Proficient PowerPoint skills
  • This role will have a lot of exposure to highly sensitive and confidential information and it is vital that the EA acts with absolute discretion and tact with the information exposed.
  • To have the flexibility to react quickly to changing situations and the skills and personality to interact with all management levels, across all functions of the business.
  • To have outstanding interpersonal skills with a high degree of discretion and cultural sensitivity.
  • Have an organisational talent for managing multiple priorities in a proactive, resilient and administrative support in a fast-paced environment.
  • To anticipate needs in an energetic manner.

Desirable knowledge and skills:

  • Project management/Co-ordination experience
  • Budget experience
