My client who is a very well established and reputable educational institution specialising in the arts sector, based in the City is looking for a well-educated, highly organised individual with excellent administrative and secretarial skills to provide support to an extremely busy and demanding CEO.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience supporting a 'C suite individual within an international organisation. This is more than a PA role whereby the successful candidate will be more of a business assistant and being the right arm person of this CEO.

Reporting directly to the CEO, the Executive Assistant provides executive support in a one-on-one working relationship. You will also serve as a liaison to the board of directors and senior

management team, organising and coordinating the CEO's internal and external appointments and will oversees projects where applicable. You must be creative and enjoy working within a small, busy, global, entrepreneurial environment that is values and results-driven. The ideal individual will have the ability to exercise good judgment in a variety of situations, with strong written and verbal communication, administrative, and organisational skills, and the ability to maintain a realistic balance among multiple priorities. You must also have the ability to work independently whilst the CEO is travelling internationally, deal with matters from conception to completion and must be able to work under pressure at times to handle a wide variety of international activities and confidential matters with discretion.

Skills and experience required

  • A degree calibre individual with a proven track record supporting a 'C' suite individual within an international organisation
  • Strong organisational skills that reflect the ability to perform and prioritise multiple tasks seamlessly with excellent attention to detail
  • Very strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with the CEO and global and governmental stakeholders, including staff, board members, external partners etc.
  • Expert level written and verbal communication skills
  • Demonstrated proactive approaches to problem-solving with strong decision-making capability
  • Emotional maturity and resilience
  • Cultural awareness and sensitivity
  • Highly resourceful team-player, with the ability to also be extremely effective independently
  • Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion, be adaptable to various competing demands, and demonstrate the highest level of customer/client service and response
  • Demonstrated ability to achieve high performance goals and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Forward looking thinker, who actively seeks opportunities and proposes solutions
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point)
