LMA Recruitment are pleased to be working with a multi-award winning and market leading organisation, who offer great training and future scope to progress. Due to their growing business, they are seeking a Claims Handler to join their exciting team based in Manchester.

Overview

The role of the Claims Handler is to work with their team to achieve business objectives whilst proactively handling claims.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Follow the systems and controls operating to ensure fair treatment of customers
  • Manage a caseload of claims
  • Ensure that company policy, procedure and regulatory requirements are adhered to
  • Practice and focus on claims resolution to optimise settlement times
  • Use effective communication skills when negotiating

Key Requirements:

  • 1 - 2 years of claims handling experience is necessary
  • Must have a general awareness of UK claims and market practices
  • Ideally have the ability to correctly interpret policy cover
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • Team player who also has the ability to work on own initiative
