A leading global technology company requires an experienced junior administrator with a second European language, to assist the Directors and PA with a range of duties within their Chief Technology office. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain experience within a leading, innovative firm for 6 months with potential for longer term.

Key Responsibilities

  • Raising and managing Purchase Orders, communicating with suppliers and Accounts Payable, and dealing with invoices
  • Booking meeting rooms, sending invites, setting up teleconferences/videoconferences and refreshments
  • Formatting presentations and providing printouts
  • Assisting with arranging international travel for the team including visa applications
  • Tracking project budgets, managing paperwork and collecting money from Finance
  • Assisting with couriers/shipments
  • Assisting with setting up new starters in the team, liaising with Facilities, completing IT paperwork and showing the new starter around the office
  • Various other admin duties as requested

Skills and Experience

  • Previous experience in an administrative role, ideally within a large organisation, is essential
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
  • Experience of minute taking is desirable
  • Highly organised with a keen eye for detail
  • Confident, proactive and happy to "muck in"
  • A strong communicator at all levels
  • A second European language - ideally French, Italian or Spanish
