Immediate Start

My client who is a London branch of an international bank based in the heart of the City is looking for an experienced banking PA to provide support primarily to the MD and adhoc support to senior managers. This is a great opportunity for a team secretary who is now looking for a senior role. This is a very busy and involved role and would suit someone who is not too precious or fussy about what is required of them.

Duties will include:

  • Supporting the Managing Director and Assistant Managing Director with their work and diary commitments
  • Greet visitors and direct them to the appropriate departments or individuals
  • Respond to queries in person, via telephone or email
  • Develop and implement office procedures
  • Maintain general company record systems to uphold accurate files
  • Fully prepare any Committee/Board report documents and packs as identified/provided by senior managers
  • Following approvals, file any relevant Committee/Board papers/minutes accordingly
  • Compose and type any correspondence letters, memos and emails as required across the whole Bank
  • Maintain up to date contact details for correspondence purposes on behalf of the MD/AMD
  • Screen documents, book meeting rooms, set up conference calls and take messages
  • Perform administrative tasks, including filing and photocopying
  • Offer administrative support to the Head of HR & Administration as and when required
  • Manage any relevant business subscriptions on behalf of MD/Bank
  • Maintain Senior Management archiving records
  • Keeping up to date with current financial crime/fraud prevention legislation and any regulatory requirements
  • Liaise with messenger regarding Board meetings, room set up and refreshment requirements and arranging lunches where necessary
