Immediate Start

Large International bank based in Canary Wharf is looking for an experienced individual to provide administrative support to the Banking and Business Management teams.

  • Apply discipline in management of business costs including approval for events, conferences etc and out of policy expenses
  • Partner with all areas of Banking Business Management and Controls and other Group wide teams to help ensure smooth running of the Businesses as needed
  • Work on adhoc projects as required where additional resource is needed
  • Collaborate and communicate effectively with colleagues
  • Review and approve/reject access requests to Banking floors
  • Run expense reports ahead of invoicing clients
  • Assist in the adherence to the Travel and Entertainment policy and challenge exception

requests to policy

  • Assist with ensuring the corporate card transactions are expensed in a timely fashion and
  • within policy - liaising with Banking PAs
  • Provide support to the New Joiners Team to ensure all requests are processed ahead of new joiners and follow up accordingly

Confidence in presenting and sharing new ideas will be an asset, and similarly to provide a 'check-and challenge' mentality throughout the day to day execution of tasks. To be a trusted and dependable team-member who can be relied upon for a variety of tasks.

Person Specification

  • Strong Micosoft Office skills including Excel, PowerPoint and Word (intermediate to advanced)

  • An understanding of Investment Banking would be helpful

  • Ability to treat confidential information with the utmost discretion
